雅楽と世界 / GAGAKU & WORLD

伝統の中に新しさを感じさせる神秘的な雅楽への支持は、数千年の悠久の年を経て今もなお続いています。 最近は若年層を中心に雅楽を始める人が増加しており、若い感性で奏でられる雅楽が、音楽の新しい可能性を拓くものとして 注目されています。 世界では1959年にニューヨーク国連総会議場で初の海外公演を行ったのを皮切りに、アメリカ・ヨーロッパ・エジプトなどの都市で 公演を実施し、日本の伝統を世界各国に紹介しました。今後も日本を代表する芸術として、さらに多くの国の人々が 雅楽を楽しんでいただける場を設けていきたいと考えています。

Support to the GAGAKU, that gives impression of some freshness to the people, has been continued until today after passing several thousand years. Nowadays young people who have started learning GAGAKU are increasing and GAGAKU played by young feeling has attracted the attention of developing the new possibility The first public performance was held at United Nation’s conference room in 1959 in New York City. The performances were expanded to other cities of United States, Europe, Egypt and Asian countries to introduce Japanese Tradition. We are planning to demonstrate and introduce the wonderful GAGAKU that represents the Japanese arts and more people in many countries can enjoy GAGAKU.
